ECCMIS Sensitization Goes to Naalya, Kira Areas
The ECCMIS Team at the public awareness and sensitization about the Electronic Court Case Management Information System at the Kira Court
As part of the ongoing public awareness and sensitization about the Electronic Court Case Management Information System, teams from Judiciary camped in markets and trading centres under Wakiso District to sensitize different communities on the new e-system.
The Public Relations and Communications Registry together with the Information Communications Technology (ICT) set up a tent at Kira Chief Magistrates Court, sensitized communities in Kira Town, Kyaliwajala and crowned the day at Naalya Market.
The ECCMIS Technical Advisor, Ms Julian Rweju, Principal Information Maintenance Officer, Mr Joseph Ssinabulya and Mr Apuuli Babigumira, Senior Communications Officer led the community engagements.
The teams supported with an outside broadcasting van and skaters, distributed IEC Materials and sensitized different groups about the new e-court system. This culminated in a quiz where participants were rewarded with ECCMIS branded t-shirts, water bottles, keyholders, wristbands, among other items.
The community engagements will continue in different areas in different parts of the country sensitizing on different court processes and reforms.
